• National Bagel Day, National Hat Day and National Strawberry Ice Cream Day
It was very exciting to try some new bagels for National Bagel Day. We decided to buy some bagels at a local bagel shop called OKO bagels https://okobagels.com/. OKO bagels makes a Montreal Style Wood Fired bagel, and they are scrumptious. They have quite a few different bagels and cream cheese to try. OKO bagel flavours are plain, onion, coconut, sesame, sea salt, everything, poppyseed, cinnamon sugar, rosemary sea salt, blueberry, chocolate chip, cinnamon raison, whole-wheat, whole-wheat whole 4 grain and whole wheat everything. Flavoured cream cheese tubs that OKO Bagels offers is plain, sun-dried tomato, herb and garlic, black olive, dill, blueberry, birthday cake, basil, roasted red pepper, Canadian maple, pineapple and chili cilantro. We decided to try the sea salt, everything, cinnamon sugar, blueberry and chocolate chip bagels and they were all enjoyable. Blueberry cream cheese is the cream cheese we decided to try and it was amazing. We will definitely go back to OKO Bagels for more delectable bagels and cream cheese. #Bagel Day
I wore my favourite hat for National hat day. The beautiful colours makes it a staple in my closet. You can pretty much wear it with everything. It may have been a crazy thing to do, but I wore it all day. Made the day a little kooky and fun. #Hat Day
There is a local ice cream place that we love. It’s called Panini and Ice Cream. https://www.facebook.com/paninisicecream/ They make the simplest treat magnificent. For National Strawberry Ice Cream Day, I had strawberry banana split half and half. The ingredients are a banana royal shake, strawberry sundae, banana, nut/sprinkles, and strawberry sauce. #Strawberry Day
