January 17 National Days We Celebrated:
• National Bootlegger’s Day, National Hot Buttered Rum Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day

National Hot Buttered Rum Day – Hot Chocolate Buttered Rum
For National Hot Buttered Rum Day, I had hot chocolate buttered rum. It had a very nice flavour. Gourmet Village has many more hot chocolate selections. Some of the other selections are cookies and cream, candy cane, salted caramel, banana, cherry and double truffle to name a few. I purchased this at Amazon https://www.amazon.ca/. #Hot Buttered Rum Day
National Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Selma
Selma is a movie that I am happy that I watched. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s historical struggle to secure voting rights for all people was amazing. A dangerous and terrifying campaign that culminated with an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1964. It is hard to believe this was going on in the 60s. I feel you learn so much from true stories and that is true with this movie. Definitely everybody should watch this movie. I rented this from our local library. #Martin Luther King Jr. Day
National Bootlegger Day – Capone
I picked this movie to watch for National Bootlegger Day, since Al Capone had a multi-million dollar operation in bootlegging, prostitution and gambling. This movie was disturbing. It depicted the last year of Al Capone’s life. I rented this from the our local library. #Bootlegger Day

Let’s see what tomorrow’s adventure will be…
