February 1 National Days Are:
• National Baked Alaska Day, National Dark Chocolate Day, National Freedom Day (Freedom From Slavery), National Get Up Day, National Serpent Day, National Texas Day and February International Days
February 1 National Days We Celebrated:
• National Dark Chocolate, Freedom, Serpent and Texas Day

I went to Chocolat on James to get a Blue Raspberry Crunch which was a soft serve with dark chocolate, dried raspberries and blueberry coulis drizzle but they don’t serve ice cream this time of year. I was so disappointed but I bought dark chocolate covered licorice. They were pretty good. #Dark Chocolate Day

We watched Abraham Lincoln for National Freedom Day. This movie was really hard to watch as the movie is really old and doesn’t have sound for a lot of it. We didn’t enjoy it very much. #Freedom Day

We watched Anacondas for National Serpent Day. A team of researchers leave for a jungle to search for a flower known as the Blood Orchid which they believe can be used as a type of fountain of youth. It’s very action packed trying to get away from the anacondas. I enjoyed this movie. #Serpent Day

For National Texas Day, we watched No Country For Old Men. The title refers to the idea that the nature of evil have changed, and the old value systems no longer apply. This is based on a book. The movie was really good until the ending as it was unexpected. #Texas Day
Let’s see what tomorrow’s adventure will be…
