• National Boy Scouts Day and National Iowa Day
I watched Follow Me Boys for National Boy Scouts Day. This movie stars Fred MacMurray and Kurt Russell. It is a feel good movie with some comedy and happy tear moments. It is very much about how great it is for the boys to be in the boy scouts, and a love story on the side. Definitely a great movie to watch. #Boy Scouts Day
I watched The Straight Story for National Iowa Day. This movie is based on a true story. A retired farmer and widower in his 70s learned his brother suffered a stroke and may not recover. He doesn’t have a drivers license so he drove his tractor from Iowa to Wisconsin to visit his brother. It was a very cute movie and loved the determination that he had to get to his brother as it was so straight forward. #Iowa Day
