After a year and a half of retirement, I decided to go back to work. This time though, I am choosing what I think I would like to do. I am now working in finance at an Indigenous Health Centre as I love working with numbers and I would love to embrace my Indigenous culture. So far so good. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and everybody wears jeans. The people are so friendly and very willing to give you a hand when needed. I am also learning more about my Indigenous culture already. At this stage in my life I think this is exactly what I need. Below is a picture of me at my reserve Pabineau First Nation at National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
